But sometimes the toughest beginnings become the strongest teachers. Instead of walking away, I spent the last decade sharpening my craft, learning from mentors, writing magazine articles, and telling stories through short fiction.

Every lesson, every critique, and every late night at the keyboard shaped the writer I am today. When my work later received a professional review scoring 8.2 out of 10, it felt less like a finish line and more like confirmation that the hard work was paying off.
